Output Torque When Installing Gearheads
Torque motors have sloping characteristics, so they can be used at any rotation speed, from stop to maximum rotation speed. The permissible torque when a gearhead and decimal gearhead is installed should be calculated using the following formula based on the speed and torque to be used according to the speed - torque characteristics graph.
Gearhead output shaft speed NG = rotation speed of the motor x 1 / gear ratio of the gearhead
Gearhead output shaft torque TG = motor torque x gear ratio of the gearhead x gearhead transmission efficiency
Note that the gearhead output shaft torque does not exceed the maximum permissible torque of the gearhead.
