Q.Direct positioning operation is being performed. Why doesn't the motor operate even when the D-SEL signal is turned ON?
On the function parameter of the D-SEL signal, "D-SEL drive start function" is found.
This setting determine whether it will operate when the D-SEL input is turned ON or not.

Operation data number selection + START function
By simply turning ON the D-SEL input, the operation of the set operation data No. will be performed.
Therefore, the START input is not required. -
Only operation data number selection
When the D-SEL input is turned ON, the set operation data No. is selected, but no operation is performed.
In order to operate, the START input must be turned ON separately.
Therefore, to operate only with D-SEL input, select "Operation data number selection + START function" (initial value) for the "D-SEL drive start function" parameter.
